Secluded Beach

Just a stone's throw from Shingle Lodge is a wonderfully secluded beach.  The sandy beach is perfect for playing with a bucket and spade or just to relax and take in the views over to Northern Ireland.  To either side of the bay there are rockpools with an abundance of sea anemones, shrimp and small fish - look closely and you may be lucky to find a hermit crab or sea slug.

You can fish from the rocks, we even have a couple of rods available for your use - just bring your own bait.
